All conversations that involve the player use a camera that tracks who is talking.

Fifth, dialog is significantly more cinematic and scripted. Fourth, all dialogue is spoken in Ultima IX, which probably limited the size and variance in the dialog lines due to the need for sufficient time to record and localize the voiceovers. This ability to vary the conversation based on topic choice, however, was not used to any significant degree in Ultima IX. In other words, each topic of conversation can open or close other topics and the Avatar's lines are not tied to a dialog topic. Third, the list of possible dialogue options depends upon the NPC's lines. As a result, most NPCs will recognize when they have talked to the Avatar previously. Second, like Ultima VII, Ultima IX’s dialogue has a dependence on story variables however, there are more variables for a wider range of possibilities.

First, the Avatar has full lines of dialogue rather than keywords that are selected from a list or typed. What is different about Ultima IX’s dialogue Ultima IX’s dialogue varies significantly from prior installments. Cinematic Event &ndahs means that the dialog is a fully scripted event with no player control. Cinematic – means that the dialog is taking place within the conversation mode. Noncinematic – means that the dialog is being spoken while the player retains full control. Proximity Enter – initiated whenever the Avatar approaches an NPC and does not require an outside trigger for activation. Triggered – indicates that dialog is being triggered, almost always by the Avatar’s approach. This is usually cinematic unless indicated otherwise. Want free biscuits as everyone expects? Then be fair and charge a fair price for the tomes, and mages will be much happier to hand em out to people for free.Ĭommentaire de ThottbotI agree not to pay crap prices for it, I wouldn't myself, I actually saw someone selling the food tome and bought it for my friend for 75 gold, hes going to pay me that amount for it, cause i paid it, but then again the other tomes being sold around are higher prices, What I do not agree with is however how you guys want us to pay for a conjured Item, yes im sorry you had to pay a crappy price for these tomes, but im not fixing to take the gold i earned as well and buy something that once i log off disappears, otherwise buying food from a vendor will cost me less, cause if i have to go run a quick errand and lose my bisquits i just spent some gold buying, and then have to buy some more, i just lost my gold cause of a 15 minute disappearing food. If I made to pay high prices for it, then anyone getting one should expect to pay high prices for any biscuit. Don't like it? too bad, stop getting people to charge outrageous fees for them, since their benefit is most beneficial not to the mage, but everyone who ever groups with the mage in any instance or BG. You want a single mana biscuit from me, hand over 800g first.

I am one that almost always gives away what I can to others, but I can guarantee that when I finally do get these tomes, I will never once pop a table for anyone until they pay the costs I had to spend to get. The produce an effect that gives no benefit to recoup their high expense to get them (unlike many other books), yet greedy players want to rip off their fellow teammates and exepct them to be happy about it and hand out the bonus of them for free. These tomes assist your side of WoW (horde or alliance). The drawback is that I have never seen anyone mention or willing to pay anything for a mage to produce a table but most are fully happy to charge them 200-400g for each tome, but then expect them to produce the benefit effect of them for free. The benefit mage table a mage gets by having these two tomes is a big bonus to everyone in a group, instance and especially in BG. Anyone that plays in BG should understand this, although I bet most are more interested in ripping off their fellow players. Both the Conjure Food VIII and Conjure Water IX tomes, should be sold (if not given) for a very reasonable fee, and not this outrageous 200-400g charge. Commentaire de ThottbotI will chime in here as well.
